Principals:

Hedged Staffing is run primarily by Phaedra Kohler and Bruce Humphrey. They have been actively involved in sourcing and recruitment management consulting for a combined total of 38 years. Their success has been founded in one simple philosophy “Customer Satisfaction.”

Over the last eight years Phaedra has focused on maximizing candidate traffic and talent management. She has been and is responsible for developing and maintaining a substantial database of highly qualified candidates. Phaedra has been extremely successful sourcing for a local nonprofit  organization where she recruits, qualifies, and trains volunteers for the organization’s “Special Projects." 

Bruce has been a successful proactive recruiter for over 25 years. At one time, he was responsible for staffing 15 "NEW" Midwest Branch Offices for one employer. Once staffed that group of offices employed 525 managers, assistant managers, administrative staff, commissioned sales representatives and hourly employees. Those offices also went on to become the most productive offices in that company’s operations, due in no small part to the quality of the hires. 

For several years Phaedra and Bruce have worked primarily in the US Construction Management and AEC Markets where they have been responsible for sourcing project managers, owners’ representatives, and estimators for a select group of construction management firms. They have developed a passion for this market niche and now dedicate their business exclusively to AEC staffing.
